Meet the Staff
Our program is based on the belief that our students need encouragement as well as education. Each child is unique and in our program their God-given gifts and abilities will be encouraged and developed.
Director and 4-year-old class teacher
3-year-old class teacher
Chris and her husband Todd have two children; Madeline with her husband Adam (they made us grandparents with Kenzley Mae), and Gabe who will soon be married to Mallory. Chris and Todd met at Clarks Summit University in Pennsylvania and have been working together in youth ministry for 21 years. The Sallstroms moved to Lake George in 2011. Chris has worked these last 6 years to continue the good name of The Caldwell Preschool here in Lake George. It is a great joy to work with the families here in Lake George.
Catie Messenger grew up in the area but moved back to Lake George with her husband Josh and their two boys, Isaiah and Levi in 2013. Catie has a bachelor's degree in Sociology from SUNY Oswego. She has a heart for kids to know there is a God that loves them and worked with teens in different capacities for 9 years before staying home with her boys. In more recent years, she has taken care of neighborhood kids in her home before coming to be our 3-year-old teacher at Caldwell. Catie is excited to be a part of the Caldwell family, teaching and helping children grow and learn before kindergarten.
